state-of-the-art solutions for laboratory, on-site and production QC applications. CLIO 14 is designed to support and
drive the new CLIO FW-03 hardware and is ready to adapt to its future development. The FW-03 USB audio interface sets a new standard for hardware precision in CLIO systems. CLIO 14 software is the new measurement software for the CLIO system. It is fully compatible with Windows 7, 8, 10 and
11.
Measurement Technology
Compared with other measurement systems, CLIO integrates the functions of many
different instruments into one. There are three distinct measurement technologies available for system identification and
characterization: - MLS & LogChirp: Utilizes pseudo-random noise or logarithmic chirp as stimuli - Sine Sweep: Employs sine signals for scanning - FFT, RTA, and 'Live' Transfer Function: Allow you to select any stimulus, even music While other instruments only offer one possible measurement option, CLIO enables you to examine physical phenomena—
such as frequency response, impedance, or other parameters—from different perspectives. The final results are then verified
through the consistency of these measurements: as any professional technician knows, this is the correct approach that should
always be adopted.The following dedicated control panels are designed for other specific measurements: - Linearity and Distortion: Measures the nonlinear behavior of electronic devices - Sound Level Meter: An IEC61672-compliant device that integrates a sound level meter with Leq and frequency analysis - Interactive L-C-R Bridge: Enables dynamic measurement of passive components - Wow & Flutter Meter: Features time and frequency analysis capabilities - Frequency Counter - Direct STIPA Rating In addition to measurement results, you also gain access to sophisticated post-processing tools for: - Thiele & Small parameters for speaker characterization - ISO 3382 acoustic parameters, including indirect STI and STIPA for room and auditorium characterization - Directional analysis of speakers, such as 2D color plots, polar or waterfall plots, or 3D balloon analysis (available only in the QC version), for comprehensive spatial characterization - Time-frequency analysis for evaluating cumulative spectral decay, energy time-frequency, wavelet analysis, and periodic wavelet analysis.
